Keep Meridians Unblocked by Stretching

One of the many functions of an acupuncture treatment is to find blocks in the deep inter-meridian channels and to clear them. These blocks can come back over time with life stresses and constitutional make up. I show patients how to keep the channels clear by specific stretches that are based on Qi Gong.

Do these every morning and repeat each five to ten times as soon as you get out of bed. Important: Breathe in when stretching open and follow that by breathing out and relaxing.

The first is the stretch for the Spleen-Heart block which is initially cleared by points under the arm and ribs.

The second is for the Liver-Lung and the Kidney-Pericardium block which is cleared by points at the front of the chest.
